We offers private tours crafted with you in mind as well as joinable tours from downtown Portland on scheduled dates. For all tours, we’ll provide a wonderful selection of wineries, food pairings and one of our esteemed ‘escape artists’ to shepard you into wine country and host your day.
Private vs. Joinable Tours
These tours are crafted to fit you and your group, including pick up location, length of tour, types of wineries and tasting experiences . Tours include planning, arranging, transportation, guide, appointments at wineries matched to you, food paired to wine (appetizers or a meal) and tasting fees. Our small group, joinable tours are a great way to experience our wine country with others. You’ll visit three unique wineries offering a wide array of wines. We’ll pair food to wine, so there’s no need to bring a lunch. These tours include guide, transportation, food paired to wine and tasting fees. We’ll meet at Director Park in downtown Portland at 11am most Saturdays (or The Allison Inn at noon) and return by 5pm. Private Tour Options
When you book a private tour, your options include length of day, number of wineries and type of experiences you’d like to have. For the optimal day, we’ve found customers enjoy relaxed visits to two or three wineries. Here are our most popular options:
Our Mini-Scape is a great way to get a flavor of Oregon’s wine country, without dedicating a full day to the experience. For these tours, we slow down a bit to spend more time at each winery for a leisurely pace. You’ll be hosted by one of our guides, visit and taste at two nearby wineries, and enjoy food matched to wines along the way.
If you have a bit more time and want a more in-depth look at our wine country, consider our full day escape. We’ll take you deeper into wine country, and if of interest, include a behind the scenes tour. You’ll be hosted by one of our guides and as Oregon wines are so nice with food, we’ll provide food pairings including a sit down lunch at one of the wineries we’ll be visiting. Cheers.
The Dinner Escape complements your wine country outing with an elegant dinner at the end of your touring day. It’s perfect for a special occasion or a wonderful respite from the workday world. We’ll start the day visiting one of the area wineries, then end with dinner matched to wine at a winery or a fine wine country restaurant. Add another winery to the day if you’d like. Selections vary by day and season but often include local salmon or pork loin as the main dish, as they match well to Oregon wines.
